Mr. Barker was born on April 12, 1956 in Columbia South Carolina. He grew up in Lakeland, Florida. He graduated from Lakeland High School and is married (Karyn) with two children.

After graduating from law school, Mr. Barker was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1985. He joined DiCesare & Davidson in 1996 at which time the name of the firm was changed to DiCesare Davidson & Barker.
